Working on your Conceptual and technical skills blog

Remember this is a distance subject so you need to show you have worked between class contact.

You should have finished your networking plan and made contact with your organisations by now.

Make sure you are blogging at least once a week documenting your conceptual and technical skill development.

Technical skills


One post per week detailing (minimum of 10 posts):
  • New findings and progress
    • Included at least one new technical skill

Regular posts detailing:

  • Technical Skills
    • Examples of desired skill level in the use of specific piece of software/equipment
    • Tutorials and resources you have used to gain new knowledge/skills
    • Examples of practicing and demonstrating newfound knowledge/skills

Conceptual skills
One post per week detailing (minimum of 10 weeks):
  • New findings and progress
  • 3 inspirational Pinterest posts (re-pins)
  • 2 other inspirational Pinterest posts (uploaded to Pinterest by you)

Regular posts detailing:

  • Conceptual Skills
    • Examples of work from at least 10 inspirational designers/artists from at least two separate disciplines
    • Relevant new technologies and the conceptual opportunities they represent
    • Original ideas that you would like to pursue
    • Demonstrated effort in developing own style
